The World's Biggest Gratitude Lesson (WBGL) is a free annual online classroom event connecting schools, teachers, and students worldwide to practise gratitude, kindness, empathy, and positive reflection. Founded during COVID-19 in 2020, WBGL has grown into a global movement reaching 300,000+ students across 60+ countries.
Join us on Thursday 10 September 2026 for the 7th annual event.
Research shows gratitude practise builds empathy, reduces anxiety, and improves mental wellbeing in children. WBGL helps teachers bring gratitude into the classroom through the 5 Habits of Happiness: gratitude, kindness, empathy, positive reflection, and serving others.
Gratitude Posters, Participation Certificates, Lesson Plans, Activity Sheets - all free for registered schools.
